Not long after Christmas, Evie and her parents were coming through town on their way to visit family. Karen suggested we meet up with each other since we'd been following each other's blog for, oh, ever! Karen has served as a huge inspiration to me, and given me lots of great advice and it was so fun to meet them in person and love on Evie! They promised to stop in again if they were passing through.
And I may have mentioned that baby Anna Jane Blais was born about a week ago. She was 10 lbs., 3 oz. which is about the same as Colt who is 3 weeks her senior! Wrapped in the miracle blankets, they look the same size. Except, Colt really does look much older and more mature. Or maybe just more awake and hairier.
Anyway, going through old pics...thought I'd mention those visits! I'm so behind...

OMG! You can really tell how jaundiced Anna was in that picture. Thank heaven for miracle blankets!
You are so sweet, it was great to meet you guys and see Colt when he was still itsy. We actually are back in SA right now and passed through your way on Friday but I am so glad we didn't make plans to meet up because it was one of the longest and hardest days of my life and we didn't get to your neck of the woods until dinnertime and got into Dallas LATE. Let's just say that 4 month old Evie is not as good a traveler as 3 month old Evie. Sigh. Next time...she has to be better, right?
